Step 3 - Adding Gloss
Now that you have most of it done, add a little finishing touch.

Press ctrl and click your text layer, this should select the text.
Grab your Rectangular Marquee tool, and set the selection type to intersect


Draw a selection box around the upper part of the text, this should leave you with half of the text selected:


Then go,
Edit -> Fill
Color: White
Opacity: About 20% depending on the strength you want.

Deselect and you are done!
